Can I use the spa if I am pregnant
Can I use the spa if I am pregnant?
When it comes to enjoying our spa experiences, there are some considerations to keep in mind.
Each Aqua Sana Forest Spa has a range of experiences, but heat-based treatments such as saunas, steam rooms, and hot baths should be avoided as they can raise your body temperature, potentially causing dehydration or overheating which can be dangerous for you and your baby. Gently heated outdoor pools are safe to use, but it’s best to avoid massage jets.
While many of our spa experiences do involve heat, with up to 25 spa experiences in each of our locations there are still plenty of areas where you can unwind, relax, and enjoy the calming atmosphere of the forest.
If in doubt, please talk to our spa team and they will help you make the most of your visit. If you are within the first 12 weeks of your pregnancy, we would advise checking with your GP before making a booking.
Please be aware that we can offer our guests staying on our villages access to the world of spa for a discounted rate of £40/€40 for a 3-hour session for expectant mothers. Bookings are made via the Contact Centre Team.
