Arrival
To help create a safe environment for guests to enjoy cycling and walking around the village, vehicle access is limited. As a result, standard arrival and departure days are Monday and Friday. The only exceptions are Christmas and New Year, when arrival days may vary depending on how the dates fall.
Guests can arrive on the village from 10am on their arrival day and begin enjoying the village facilities.
After unloading luggage, vehicles must be returned to the main car park as soon as possible.
The Arrivals Lodge is staffed 24 hours a day, so guests arriving later in the evening can still check in and drive to their accommodation to unload.
Guests do not need to arrive together. Each vehicle should have the booking reference available when arriving.
Accommodation Access
Accommodation access times vary depending on the accommodation type:

Once accommodation is ready, the barrier will be lifted to allow guests to drive to their accommodation and unload.
Departure
Guests are asked to vacate their accommodation by 10am on their departure day to allow time for cleaning and preparation for incoming guests.
Before leaving, guests should:
- Leave the accommodation in a reasonable condition.
- Remove waste to the recycling bins.
- Start the dishwasher before departing.
There is no formal check-out process. Guests should simply place their wristbands in the box at the departure barrier when leaving the village.
Guests are welcome to continue enjoying the village facilities until midnight on their departure day.
Collecting Your Vehicle
From 4am on the morning of departure, guests can drive to their accommodation to load their vehicle. If an earlier departure is required, the Security Team can raise the barrier on request.
Guests wishing to pack their vehicle the evening before departure may drive to their accommodation from 4pm onwards by collecting a temporary car pass from the Security Lodge.
The temporary pass allows up to one hour to:
- Pack the vehicle.
- Begin the journey home, or
- Return the vehicle to the main car park.
